Harvey was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Bloomington. After graduating, he took time off before attending the Northern Illinois University School of Law and eventually transferring to the Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.
Due to his background, Harvey has always enjoyed helping people, especially those who lack means or opportunity. While in law school, he participated in the school’s Pro Bono Program, volunteering with Project GRACE, a non-profit program assisting patrons with the expungement process. Harvey also volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem for juvenile cases.
Following his law school graduation, Harvey continued to volunteer with Project GRACE and as a Guardian Ad Litem. He also volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate through Child Advocates. Harvey’s passion for helping others has extended to his practice of law, and he enjoys being able to assist Plaintiffs who have been wronged in becoming whole again.Contact Harvey Lancaster
