Meet Kaelyn

Biography
Kaelyn was born and raised outside of Peoria, Illinois. She attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and minored in Psychology and International Studies. Kaelyn has always dreamt of becoming a lawyer since she toured a courthouse at the young age of 13. In 2020, after being a paralegal for a divorce law firm for 1.5 years, Kaelyn decided to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer. She moved back to Indiana and attended Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she published an article in Volume XXI of the Indiana Health Law Review and received the Civil and Human Rights Law Graduate Certificate upon graduation in December 2023.
After graduating, Kaelyn continued her legal career by becoming a Deputy Prosecutor in Marion County where she helped establish, enforce, and modify child support cases. Her experience assisting unrepresented individuals who faced emotional and difficult situations has helped her understand the importance of empathy, patience, and communication. Today, Kaelyn is passionate about fiercely advocating for those who have been wrongly injured and serving her community.
Kaelyn is an active member and in good standing with the Indianapolis Bar Association and Indiana State Bar Association. She resides in Greenwood, Indiana and enjoys being a mother, making memories with her family and friends, traveling, trying new things, and spending time outdoors.
