Meet Brock
Biography
Brock Alvarado is a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana, having been born, raised, and educated in Lake and Porter Counties. He is a graduate of Valparaiso Law School and dually licensed in Indiana and Illinois in both state and federal forums.
A seasoned trial attorney, Brock has represented plaintiffs as well as defendants in complex personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance coverage matters, serving as a plaintiff’s trial counsel in a nationally publicized case against Dr. Mark Weinberger. He also handles claims involving premises liability, trucking accidents, work site injuries, and commercial disputes.
Brock is highly experienced with all phases of the litigation process, from preparing pleadings, briefs, motions, medical review panel submissions, and discovery materials to fighting for justice during mediation and arbitration proceedings and in the courtroom. In addition to his tireless advocacy on behalf of his clients, he has helped prepare the next generation of Indiana attorneys as a continuing legal education instructor.
Prior to entering private practice, Brock was a deputy prosecutor in the Felony Division of the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office in Crown Point, IN, and giving voice to victims remains his true calling to this day, one he prides himself on doing to the utmost here at Hensley.
