Since launching in 2021, Backpacks 4 Good has distributed more than 53,000 backpacks filled with essential classroom supplies to Indiana students in need.

Each backpack comes completely free of charge and contains:

Two pocket folders
Classic no. 2 pencils
Pencil sharpener
Pencil pouch
Crayons
Glue stick
5″ scissors
Water bottle

2026 is shaping up to be the program’s biggest year yet, with 10,000 more backpacks being made available at in-person giveaways throughout the state, including a drive-thru in Evansville that will be held on:
