Hensley Legal Group and WISH-TV Present Golden Apple Award to Courtney Lawhead

Hensley Legal Group helped select the recipient of this year’s award, which recognizes exceptional Indiana teachers who are making a difference in the lives of their students.

Hensley Legal Group is thrilled to have taken part in presenting the 2023 Golden Apple Award to Mrs. Courtney Lawhead.

Each year, WISH-TV recognizes a different educator who is making a positive impact on the lives of Indiana students. In addition to a trophy, the Golden Apple Award comes with a school supply shopping spree at Teachers’ Treasures, a video message from students and staff, and a surprise visit from WISH-TV’s News 8 team.

Hensley got together with WISH-TV to help select the latest Golden Apple Award recipient, Mrs. Lawhead, a science teacher at Hamilton Southeastern High School whose extraordinary compassion and dedication have long been recognized throughout the school district.
