A devastating collision between a motorcycle and a truck took place on Beech Road between Ireland Road and Wildwood Drive in Mishawaka, IN.  Officers from the St. Joseph County Police Department immediately halted local traffic after they arrived at the scene of the Mishawaka motorcycle accident shortly before 7:00 a.m. on October 4, 2024.

Authorities said that the road closure would continue until 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. to allow the department’s FACT unit to investigate the crash.  Commuters have been asked to avoid this area until the investigation has been completed.
