Hensley Legal Group believes in giving back to the community. We care a lot about personal injury law, but we also care about the well-being of other Hoosiers. That’s why we’ve teamed up with many different causes throughout the Indianapolis community.
In September, we will be hosting our annual Swing “Fore” Hope Golf Scramble to benefit NeuroHope. This is the fifth year we’ve had the opportunity to host this event and we can’t wait to bring it back for another year.
NeuroHope is a charitable organization that helps Hoosier families find their new normal in the event of traumatic injury or illness. Every year, many people end up in the ICU with the realization that they’ll need serious rehabilitation. It can be incredibly frightening for a person to realize they now have life-altering injuries. But that’s where NeuroHope steps in to help.
The organization strives to provide access to top-notch rehab to Hoosiers that really need it. However, their services also stretch beyond rehab access. The team at NeuroHope is on a mission to help people living with paralysis by offering accessible activities and wellness programs. They really go above and beyond to help their clients.
NeuroHope believes that it’s important for every Hoosier to engage in regular exercise, even if they are living with paralysis. The exercise programs offered through NeuroHope are specialized and tailored to suit the needs of individuals. The organization points out that hospital readmission rates are often lowered through the power of regular exercise, which helps the client live a long, active life.
While many Hoosiers living with paralysis would like to have access to affordable therapy, the sad reality is that it’s just not an option for many. That’s why NeuroHope provides affordable options. No one ever plans to suffer an injury or illness that results in paralysis. But organizations like NeuroHope can and do make a difference. They accept most insurance plans as well as private-pay rates. The organization just wants Hoosiers living with paralysis to get the most out of life, no matter what their financial situation looks like.
Available exercises offered through NeuroHope include floor and mat work, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, vibration plate training, and so much more. It’s truly a remarkable organization and we couldn’t be happier to partner with them for another fundraising event.
The Swing “Fore” Hope event tees off Monday, September 19 at Ironwood Golf Club. Check-in starts at 8 am. You’ll have free access to the driving range. We’ll supply breakfast, so show up with your appetites.
The price of your ticket also includes lunch, beer, and soda. We wouldn’t want you to play on an empty stomach.
When you’re finished playing, you can also enjoy our silent auction and raffle. Bid on our fantastic prizes and enjoy some free pizza while you’re there.
When you’re ready to register, click here to sign up. You can register a team of four golfers, sign up as an individual, and even buy your raffle tickets.
