Meet Sara
Biography
Sara Rochby grew up in Northeast Indiana. After high school, she headed south to Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and earned a degree in field biology. She then went on to Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Even with years spent in warmer climates, Indiana still felt like home. After law school, Sara came back to be closer to family and to the friendliness of the Midwest.
While in law school, Sara worked for a personal injury attorney and found a real passion for the work. After graduating, she spent 13 years in the insurance industry, focusing on general liability and professional liability claims. That experience gave her a detailed understanding of how insurance companies evaluate and handle claims, and it now benefits her clients on the other side of the table. In the end, Sara wanted a career that better matched her values and allowed her to help people directly. That led her to Hensley Legal Group, where she now advocates for injured Hoosiers and their families.
Outside the office, Sara is married with two children and three stepchildren, who keep the household very busy. The family also includes a cat named Goose. In her free time, Sara enjoys throwing pottery and making ceramic art, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She also loves traveling with her husband, usually to somewhere with a beach.
