Do You Charge Me to Review My Case?
No. If you call our office or contact us online, we will review your case for free.
What is a Free Consultation?
You may have heard or read (even on this website) the phrase, “Call us for a free consultation!” What does that mean? Essentially, it means that you can contact a law firm, give them the details of your case, and they can offer you options on what they think you should do next. This is a good time to ask any questions you have about your case and what it would look like if you took legal action.
A free consultation does not automatically make you a client of the law firm you call, but you do enjoy client-attorney privilege, which means that the details of your case will be kept private and secure. We will not discuss the details of your case with anyone else unless you authorize us to do so.
If you call a law firm for a consultation and they tell you they don’t think they can help with your case, that does not mean that no other similar lawyer or law firm will take your case. Different law firms decide on different criteria for the cases they will or won’t take. A good law firm will typically give you the name and number of another organization that may be able to help you if they choose to pass on your case.
If the law firm decides to take your case, they will tell you and schedule a time to finalize the agreement. At Hensley Legal Group, we schedule home visits with prospective clients. This means that we meet at their home (or at an agreed-upon location nearby if the client is uncomfortable with having visitors in their home) and go over the paperwork and get you signed up as an official client. Our field investigators will be happy to answer any questions you may have during the home visit.
