August 17, 2011 – Indianapolis, Ind. – According to a report from Wish TV 8, a motorcyclist was killed after crashing into the side of a minivan in Indianapolis on Monday, August 8.
The fatal motorcycle accident occurred around 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of 38thStreet and Lafayette Road, on the city’s west side.
The unidentified 36-year-old motorcyclist was heading east on 38th Street when she struck a Pontiac Montana minivan, turning left out of a parking lot into the westbound lanes of 38th Street.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The unidentified 51-year-old woman, who was driving the minivan, and her 7-year-old granddaughter, who was a passenger, were not injured.
