Fatal Car Crash in Indianapolis Injures 3-Year-Old Child

April 13, 2011 – Indianapolis, Indiana – In a report from Fox 59, a fatal car crash in Indianapolis injured a 3-year-old child, as well.

The Fox 59 story says the fatal car accident took place on Friday, April 1, at approximately 3 p.m. at the intersection of 86th Street and Ditch Road. Witnesses to the deadly car accident say that a black Pontiac was going east on 86th Street when a blue Honda that was going south on Ditch Road hit it.

The unidentified female driver of the Pontiac was pronounced dead at the scene of the car accident. Another female passenger and a 3-year-old were taken to a nearby hospital.

The driver of the Honda was also taken to a hospital for the treatment of injuries. All victims transported to the hospital were not believed to have life-threatening injuries. So far, police have said that they don’t believe alcohol or drugs were the cause of the fatal car accident in Indianapolis, but they are continuing to investigate the details.
