October 13, 2010 – Anderson, IN – A chain-reaction crash involving at least 3 vehicles on I-69 resulted in one couple being sent to the hospital. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on October 11.
WRTV Indianapolis reports that a husband and wife traveling on I-69 near exit 22 on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive were the injured victims of a multi-vehicle accident. Police reports state that one vehicle sideswiped another, causing a chain reaction of vehicles that ended with the couple’s Pontiac being pushed into a busy intersection.
The vehicle was struck by another car, which caused the couple to sustain life-threatening injuries. They were airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where they were listed in critical condition.
