3 Injured after a Car Crashes into a House in Indianapolis

October 20, 2011 – Indianapolis, Indiana – According to a report from Wish TV 8, a car crashed into a house and injured 3 people in Indianapolis.

The car crash occurred on Monday, Oct. 17, at approximately 3:30 a.m. The driver of a Chrysler PT Cruiser apparently lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a home in the 3600 block of North Emerson Avenue.

Besides the driver, there were 2 additional passengers. Of the occupants of the car, 2 of them were trapped for about 30 minutes. Rescue crews were finally able to free them.

According to police, 1 man and 2 women were involved in the crash, with all being alert and conscious when they were taken by ambulance to area hospitals.

No one was in the home at the time of the crash.
 The house sustained significant damage, leaving a hole in the side of it. The accident also caused the house to shift, with bricks on the opposite side of the accident crumbling.
